Hopefully someone can ask these on my behalf (if you are short of questions that is). ;)

1. Why aren't you working towards codeshares with Cathay Pacific and/or Malaysia Airlines? you should also codeshare with them on own main routes to give customers more choice of timings in addition to your own flights (as you have done with EK).

2. For the routes where you have a codeshare with a non-Oneworld airline eg. Jet Airways Singapore - India, Hong Kong - India, unless you are flying in business you don't get any status benefits what so ever. Hence why people of status choose to fly OW flights on these routes, a) either benefits like lounge access, priority checkin.etc need to be negotiated with the operating carrier OR b) this just reinforces the need to codeshare with another OW airline in Asia.

Hopefully this thread is still being follow by 'Lesley'. Just flew into briz from Perth and it would be the worst experience in business ever. The staff tried very hard and the food was fine. The wine selection was hit and miss... The mornington peninsular Chardonnay was great but the WA cab sav was far too young and not up to standard. The iPads are definitely second rate. The movie selection was poor..had better on the flight from Perth to Broome, the TV shows were weird. My wife had to reboot her iPad 3 times before she could log on and she had to try 3 earpiece sets to find 1 that would work in her iPad. Definitely not a premium service. Virgin business for this same sector was a lot cheaper but you try to support Qantas whenever you can but if this is as good as it gets( a tired old 767) why would you bother.

Yawn!

The A330 upgrades will fix the old 767's

I think Virgin might be what you need. At least a couple of times, anyway.

As QF services decline in number, especially in the case of QFi and OW codeshares seem to decline too as do OW and partner earn rates and if you do not live in Sydney... and you don't want to fly Emirates. What is the point? You will look elsewhere. Loyalty is a two way street, something QF does not understand any more.
