Hmph. Lots of fat fingers in this thread.

I would prefer you all stroke my ego and tell me that it's my erudite and insightful posts that get people peeking at me.

Is it only me who thinks this profile business is so sad?

Theory :- Maybe lonely people who Google their own name in the folorn hope that they have notoriety online, get some satisfaction in knowing that some anonymous forum member has been bored enough to browse whatever lies thay have put down in their profile.

Cure :- Don't look, don't care. Now your stalking problem is no more and you can get back to that essay.

Heya Lawlass, I just checked you out as well..........now I just need to work out why I did that.

Matt

Actually, it takes you to the profile page when you click on the pop-up telling you your posts have received new 'likes'.

I can understand why you wouldn't know that though.

If I notice a member of AFF gives good advice I will often click through to their profile to look at their other thread contributions. Sometimes I am lurking with an infant on my lap watching his Mickey Mouse on the other side of the screen, making typing a bit difficult, so I find alternate methods of searching ;)

Now I am freaking out that everyone will think I am a profile stalker!

Back on June 8th I got a friend request from AFF member "Manila Re" who had only joined that day & to this day has no other friends. Thought it was a bit odd that the very day you join you start adding friends before you even find out what the site is about - & no, I didn't accept their request.

I was helping with the drron 2000 Views Cause.

And I think you're cute. And I like your daughter's pet bunny rabbit.

After seeing all this, I couldn't resist a peek. But, let's face it Lawlass, your
profile is as empty and boring as mine
.

I have updated the thread title to reflect the real reason for this thread ;),:lol:.
