Macquarie worker caught ogling nude pictures during live TV broadcast

You don't think it possible that he may have been emailed those pictures (or links to them)?

Thats a possibility for sure, but given he clicks more than one link he is still a twit in my book.

I don't think it's so much the content on the pics that's caused the ruckus, more a case of MacBank getting a dented ego.

A lot of people there take themselves way too seriously and I think this incident has shown that their employees are just the same as anywhere else.

I'd be a bit annoyed with the dude concerned if he managed a share portfolio that wasn't faring so well as I'd think he was paying more attention to the pics than the Dow Jones.

Mind you I'm sure it's all the perception that he's surfing the net all day. I'm sure he puts in some serious hours at work & was taking a quick sanity break.

;) ;)

From the radio this morning, apparently he received an e-mail flagged "urgent" with an important subject line and opened it to find this photo of the model. Then when we scrolled down it said "Look behind you." It's suspected that it was other guys in the office playing a prank. Investigations at Macquarie are ongoing, but the poor sap who is now famous still has his job. For now.

And macquarie's share price went up $2.50 or so yesterday!!

I think the sender of the email might be in for some questioning too....

Reminds me of those two coughy law firm workers who were throwing s*** at each other via email left, right and centre over some lunch or something like that. They accidentally cc'ed a whole bunch of people and the email did the rounds around Sydney. Eventually the whole thing came full circle back to the boss of the law firm after which both ladies were promptly dismissed. (One sued for wrongful dismissal; can't remember whether she won or not).

Just like every bad situation needs a scapegoat, of course the people who forwarded the errant email didn't get so much as a slap on the wrist.

But why do I mention this as any connection? This man has no one to blame but himself. Face or no face he would have been in trouble all the same.

This man has no one to blame but himself.

Do you mean the man who, if the report in post #26 is true, simply opened an e-mail marked 'urgent', and was the victim of a practical joke?

If so, I do not follow your logic...

(I have not seen video of the 'incident')

Have a look at the video and it will save you some typing, while he may have been a victim of a prank, he falls for it twice by clicking on two links from what I can see, so I am not sure he is entirely innocent in the whole scenario.

Fair enough. I'm unable to view i/net video mid-week for various reasons...I'll check it out on the weekend.

This is dumb. I don't know how looked live on TV but on YouTube you need to have perfect eyesight to see what he is looking at let alone pinpoint a semi-naked Miranda Kerr in the background.

If it was a topless guy in the background not a word would have been said. Silly double standards....

In the Asian country I was in yesterday, this appeared on the news. They unfortunately blurred out certain details of Miranda...

I even tried to check out the Youtube video, but my hotel had blocked Youtube. :(

Oh wells.

I agree & so does 85% of the voters on the Daily Telegraph Poll.

Now there is the target market for the pictures.

Still at least they use resources wisely at the Daily Terror, one barley used brain between the lot of them.
