On D7 the best seats for leg room and space are 7DEF, 15HJK, 35ABC & 35HJK. Down side is they all have fixed arm rests.I have booked D7 flight instead KUL-SYD and in 17C bulkhead. I think I am still crazy.

I did that with a bid recently, but figured out how to undo it.
While checking in for a Kenya Airways flight from DLA (Douala, Cameroon), I was asked to present my original credit card used for purchase - which I stupidly left at home because I didn't think I would need it. Was sent to the KQ ticketing office to talk to the manager - but she was adamant that I had to show a photo of the credit card. I told her I didn't have it, and she suggested to cancel my existing ticket, and purchase a new one with the credit card I had with me - the conversation went back and forth for 20 minutes, getting me nowhere. I then asked her whether a photo of the credit card was good enough, luckily, it was.
All I had to do now, was get in contact with someone from home to send me a photo of it. I didn't have a working SIM card with 3G with me and was beginning to stress out. I tried connecting to the KQ wifi, but that didn't work, so I had to be creative. I managed to find an 'airport worker' and ask him to borrow his mobile phone for a wireless hotspot - in exchange for payment, of course. By some miracle, my partner replied almost straight away, and took a photo of her supplementary card and sent it to me.
I showed the KQ office worker, and she said that wasn't good enough, as it wasn't under my name, even though it was the same card number - and that she needed some form of ID from my partner. By now, we had 40 minutes to departure and I had yet to check in.
The man whose phone I used as a hotspot was long gone. I beg the KQ manager to use her phone (iPhone) to iMessage my partner again for her license, she relents. I manage to get the photo ID, and she checks me in with 25 minutes to departure. Had I missed that flight, I would have missed another flight to Kuwait on a separate ticket the following night which would have thrown my whole trip into jeopardy - as, understandably, there are only SO many ways to get out of Douala.
It's a real ripoff, but it seems that UL (for one) have quietly dropped this requirement. However, it doesn't do much to encourage flyer loyalty.How stressful is that. I have been caught in this requirement, but why is it so important to them? A real problem for people who cc churn.
You know how Vodafone $5 International Roaming allows you to seamlessly use your Vodafone plan in 50 countries? Well before you go to a totally civilised first world country like Canada just check it is covered - just cause USA covered don't' assume Canada is also - indeed it isn't - and after just 3 days usage I get these 4 messages from Vodafone - 1st 3 advising charges for 3 days usage:

$446 in 3 days usage charges to be precise - D'Oh I guess that qualifies as a 'Travel Mistake' huh?

To clarify were you using their phone directly or on hotspot mode ? Not sure I'd want a photo of my ID to be left with a random stranger.
This requirement is just crazy (and yes I have experienced it elsewhere) - it achieves nothing but customer frustration.
The legroom in 17C is fine. Similar to exit row. A little restricted in 17AB but my feet did not reach bulkhead fully stretched at 5'8". 15HJK is the equivalent to 17ABC bur with a lot of extra leg room as there is no bunk head and just door space.

Think I will give D7 an indefinite break. Too uncomfortable for me. I paid ~$420 for one way flight and another ~$17 on 3 beers and pringles. Too much money for little comfort. I was actually starving towards end of flight but very few options left and to be honest the food I did pre-order was rubbish. Noticed a fair few people choose not to receive the second meal they prepaid. Not sure reason.
I spent ~$600 for CNX-KUL-SYD. Think I could have paid ~AUD750 for CNX-BKK-SYD on PG/QF which would have been a much better choice.
Anyway I think lesson learnt.
Amused myself with the decision I made to fly D7.But you landed..........in the correct airport.....
