Hi All,

I've read here about other members getting their current status extended for the following twelve months when they haven't managed to get the required number of status points by their review period.

My status review date is mid September and I know with my current planned flights (not yet booked) that I'm going to be 100 status credits short come the review period.

Do any of you have advise on what's the best way to approach Velocity about this? Should I call them now, wait a month - what are your thoughts?

FYI, I was out of work for the first three months immediately after attaining Platinum, otherwise I would have maintained it with no problems.

Cheers,

Steve.

I wouldn't count on VA offering to extend your status. Have you considered doing a status run? If you're flying enough to (almost) maintain Platinum status, it would probably be worth it.
