Make sure you ask the Woolworth checkout person if your WW card has successly scanned

I think the same thing has happened to me twice this week. I always scan the barcode from my WW app. BEEP. I can't say for sure if the card logo appeared on screen...I usually notice it.

But 2 spends from this week haven't posted when generally they are instantaneous now. Bit annoying seeing as I am currently targetted with a spend $x this week offer.

I generally decline the physical receipt as well.

Maybe the only way to keep QFF ticking over, if you don't have to fly anywhere, (grin!!!), is to get the QTMC and just spend some thing small every 4 weeks, this will keep our QFF account active, even if we only get 0.25 points per $1 spent.
I used to love "saving" paper by not asking for a receipt, and assuming that the WWR card has pinged onto their system.
Even if you do get the receipt, the WWR call centre will grudgingly put your points onto your account, but you have to cite the full works, the store number, the full list of digits, ie, date and time, and register number, and amount, pain in the you know where.
Some WW stores still seem to have the staff print the receipt, even if you tell them no receipt thanks, their system will print one out, and the girl or guy then has to spuish it up, and throw it in the bin.
Some places will not print, unless you ask, some places will print a receipt no matter what.
I used to love WWR when the card or mini card will automatically ping the points, now we have to double check.
Must say though, another way is (if you don't have to buy meds), and want to keep your QFF account alive, is to spend some small amount at TWChemmart, granted some on here have said their points haven't appeared, but at the least, its rarer than the WWR non appearance of points.
Sometimes I wonder what those people at WWR and FB offices do, if they dare/have to tell their customers, "this is an emergency measure that I will put the points on manally" or words to that effect.
FB have also told me off, so to speak, for phoning them up to have them put the FB points on manually.
Sorry for the diatribe.

My two cents worth. There are two habits you need to adopt if you want to religiously collect the points
  • pass the rewards card over for scanning as early in the cash register process you can and always check the screen to see it has registered
  • always collect the paper receipt and read the guff below the credit card details
If you collect the paper receipt it will tell you whether the points have been credited. Otherwise it will make an offer of 1,000 points to join. If the latter occurs, you can ring the rewards number, quote the store the date and receipt number and the points will be added to your account.

AV I hope you are back at work soon fully stood up seems the worst is about to end fingers crossed for you🤞

Grudgingly they will add points on the phone, but they will say its once off.
If phoning BWS is like phoning WWRewards.
These days if you have the docket you can claim online.

Log into your rewards account if you look around there's an option to make a missing points claim.

There is a limit on how many claims like this you can make.

I now get online receipts via app on smartphone.
Its a new one since I started this thread.
Since I started app on this 16 gb smartphone, it has been easy to keep an eye on points with WWR and their opposition.

I noticed now also if you tap for card then press pay too fast it won’t catch the card then you need to go back a step.

Pointhacks website says that if a person forgets their card, and they keep their receipt, they can phone up the WWR/EDR support phone number and the points will be put on.
This was in 2020, not sure now.
Last time I bought a phone recharge with Coles, that service counter checkout didn't have a FB reader, (the one that sells cigs), store person would not cancel the transaction so I could put in transaction on another checkout, next to the service counter.
The lady steadfastly would not do anything, didn't want to cause a scene, so just took my receipt with recharge details on it, and recharged my mobile.
Spent half an hour onholde with FB, and then the call dropped out.
Posted whole receipt to the FB locked bag and nothing has been put on.
In this case, WWR/EDR wins over Coles & FB.

If what Pointhacks says is correct, that means we could do claims for WWR/EDR points by phone.
Still not online, but at least doable by phone.
Edit: ah, just had a look, WWR/EDR does now also allow online claims if WWR/EDR card wasn't scanned, ... very good idea.
