Malaysia Digital Arrival Card - Register to Use Autogates

MH International to International does not require you to enter the country so just head to your connecting flight when you get in - assuming you have BP for connecting flight.
@Kangol , with the one caveat that your transit does not involve moving between KLIA1 & KLIA2.

That can only be done landside which means clearing customs and immigration.
Thanks, I am on the same PNR, arriving into and departing from KLIA terminal 1.
Looks like the best lounge is the Platinum (OWE) one in the satellite terminal, for QF WP?

Yes that is the best lounge option, don;t get your hopes up though, many prefer the business lounge next door for food.

Got stuck in the immigration queue once transferring from dom to int at KLIA as there were no auto gates for non locals. Almost missed my connecting flight.

The auto gates say "Malaysian Only", but in reality they work for any of the epassport countries.
The signage was put in place after a few highly influential locals complained that Malaysians had no special treatment at airports.

If you find yourself in a long queue and there are available autogates...you know what to do.

Is this signage recent? (I have used the autogates several times this year, last in June.)

I went through the auto gates at KLIA1 in late July on an Australian passport. Pretty sure the signage had flags from all the epassport countries. Took 5 seconds. Magic. Sydney could learn something.

I tried it, didn’t work for me but I didn’t try all the 3 gates. I just thought I’ll give it a shot despite the “Malaysian Only” sign due to the short connection. Next time I’ll try all the gates before giving up.

June-ish sometime they added extra signage.

If you arrive into KLIA1 at the wrong time of day.... it's like 2015 all over again.
Insanely long lines -- even for automated gates. I waited 60mins+ last time.

KUL is fast transforming into one of those airports (like BKK), where you don't want to be in economy class purely because the security/immigration lines will eat your soul.

Thanks - I'm booked to arrive several times over the next few weeks (Once in business, so there is that at least).

I do note the web pages have been changed (rudimentarily) - with indication now only to present MDAC to an official at the counter. I guess I can always check eligibility Malaysia Digital Arrival Card - MDAC (I was an early adopter and had enrolled with biometric (finger print) last year).

Came through arrivals Thursday 4pm.

It was pretty busy.

As you pass the SIM card booths, signs direct MDAC passengers to the right and others to the left.

Proceeding right I saw they have the signs up showing the ~60 country flags for the MDAC but had 8 taped lanes; 4 for Malay PP holders only. There were staff checking Passports before directing access.

There were about 60 queued in the "others" lanes, no queues in the MY lanes.

Being pointed to the "others" lane, I I selected the one in the middle directly adjacent to the MY lanes.

My lane moved twice as fast as the other three as people in my lane at the front were being directed to use the mainly vacant Malzisn designated autogates.

Was through in 4 minutes.

Departing today it is a similar setup, although there were no queues at 12:30pm on a Saturday including none at the counters either..

I'm thinking the counter staff required to push all but Malay through was onerous.
