Managing Westjet flights booked on QF points

I would take a screenshot of the Qantas website when you book the flight since it clearly shows there that bags are included. For instance, here's a flight I'm thinking of booking from Moncton to Vancouver:

If WestJet says, "no" and charges you for the flight, request a receipt and bill it back to Qantas.

Now QF has just changed to "?" in the included bags. I am wondering whether you guy have flown on Westjet recently (using QF points). Do we have to pay to charge for one piece of bag? It costs about CAD50

Looking into this as well for a pure WS redemption. Anybody has experience recently? Or has the Qantas website just finally caught up with what was mentioned here already?
I have not booked a WestJet award on Qantas but have booked WestJet and Air Canada awards on partners before. The key thing to keep in mind is that in Canada economy fares don’t typically come with baggage. At the same time, although Qantas and WestJet have a partnership that partnership confers no benefits if you have status with Qantas (e.g., no extra bags if you’re Gold). If you book into business or premium economy there will be a bag included as that is *still* included on those fares.

One final point to consider: check your various points currencies and status as booking with Qantas may not be the best option. For instance, last year I booked Moncton, New Brunswick to Victoria, BC for 12,500 Delta points in coach. Since I was Delta Medallion Gold at the time of booking I got free bags and complimentary priority seat selection. Similarly I used 10,000 Virgin Australia points to book Montreal to Saint John on Air Canada. At the time I held Turkish Star Alliance Gold status which got me free bags and lounge access at Montreal.
