I very recently had to cancel a JQ flight that I had with a Max Bundle. The voucher came through but it was only for the value of the Max Bundle. I'm still waiting for the credit voucher for the base fare. I remember it all coming back in one amount previously. Have they separated the voucher into the different components now and I just have to wait for the remainder? Or should I be chasing them up for the rest?

My most recent example was last year. One credit for full amount, per flight. Ie for return tickets I got 2 credits, usually issued on consecutive days.

I assume the flight you cancelled wasn't bought in a 'return for free' sale? The return leg in these cases has a $0 base fare.

I've received a few vouchers and they've never separated the bundle from the base fare.

No, it wasn't one of those return for free sales. I eventually contacted them via the webchat and they said the 2nd voucher should be arriving in a few days but could not explain why it was even separated in the first place.

That is very odd.

I usually just change my travel date to a date far in the future and keep changing it until I need it - assuming you've booked a route you travel often.

Unfortunately, not a route I travel often. I finally worked out that the amount was just one way, which is why it was so odd. And even weirder because I didnt buy 2 one-ways. It was a return ticket. Anyway, the other credit voucher arrived after a few hours.
