HI
Just wondered if anyone had any suggestions for maximizing mileage and F experience on an AONE4 ex NZ - and I'm collecting miles on AAdvantage
I need to visit London/Bermuda/Chicago - everything else is up for discussion!
Travel dates are from early Nov to early Feb
I could do CX F ex AKL on both outbound and return
Also any alternatives offering F on CX ex HKG - BOM requires an overnight stay and the need to get a visa etc but don't think there are many other F options ?

As a starter here's

WLG-MEL-LHR-MCT-LHR-DFW-YVR-JFK-BDA-MIA-ORD-LAX-ORD-HKG-BOM-HKG-AKL

Look forward to any thoughts/advice
and thanks in advance!

You've done a good job of maxing the segments with F cabins, and it would be hard to tweak it much further, other than incrementally.

Observations:
  • Are you referring to Nov 2011 - Feb 2012, or Nov 2012 - Feb 2013? The answer may have implications for the availability of F segments between Australia and HKG
  • YVR-JFK and MIA-LAX are both transcontinentals, so an alternative for one will be needed.
  • I've overlooked AKL-HKG as an F segment option, so thanks!! I find it rather annoying that a NZ destination retains F segments on CX, but not an Australian one

HI and thanks for that and it's for travel Nov 2011-Feb 2012
And sorry I knew about the US rule and had meant to put in MIA-ORD-LAX-ORD and replace HKG-MEL-WLG with HKG-AKL to keep to 16 sectors- I'll edit it now
And yes it's a great frustration that no CX F to HKG and as you say no QF in due course .....
Cheers
