Details of how you earn flybuys points with Medibank:

- Earn 3 points for every $1 you spend on fresh fruit and veg and frozen veg at Coles (capped at 1,000 points per month)
- Earn 1 point per $2 on health insurance premium payments
- when you take out a new Medibank membership that includes hospital cover, you’ll earn 15,000 bonus points for singles cover, 25,000 bonus points for single parent cover, 30,000 bonus points for couples cover or 40,000 bonus points for family cover. Offer starts tomorrow, ends 31 August 2013. (Your Medibank membership must be current for 6 months before flybuys will credit bonus points)

..and yet there are some that choose health insurance based on the insurers acceptance, or not, of Amex

I guess they think it is encouraging F+V purchases, which is a worthwhile aim in itself.

You still can pay with Amex via paypal for Medibank insurance.
