I'd like to offer a very sincere thanks to TomVexille and blackcat20 for organising the function last night. As a new (and no longer junior - yay!) member of AFF and my first social function, I was humbled at the generous welcome by everyone at the table. It was wonderful to put real names and faces to the usernames and the conversation, information, tips, food and wine flowed in abundance. There was a genuine warmth and conviviality around the table and I felt immediately I was amongst friends, making it one of the best nights out I've had in a long time.

No need when most of the bottles are empty! There should be an empty Magnum shock somewhere on the table as well.
