MEL dinner & drinks - Wednesday 1 MAY 2013

There is a history of frequent flyer drinks continuing well into the evening.

I have succumbed to that temptation on several occasions.. :mrgreen:
Enjoyably though..

Can't make it mid-week, but I (and 4 other aff/ft-ers) will be in Melbourne on the 4th May, coming off a FLounge Run on JQ1. Maybe the crusty organizer would like to organise a shindig that evening to generate some synergies between DPRV and non-DPRV AFF/FTers..

The date for this event will remain the same, however if I am in Australia on the 4th I am happpy to fly / catch up with you guys. Unfortunately the current plan has me drinking coffee with gvdIAD, Condition One and others in SGN, which would be one hell of a commute for a drinks night.

On a more serious note, if anyone has any suggestions or preferences regarding venue please let me know, otherwise I shall just pick somewhere and make a booking.

I thought Bear Brass was good last time, happy to go there again or try somewhere new?

On Wednesday nights they do a $15 Pizza & Pint special. Most of us did this last time and it works well, as pizzas can be shared. If you don't want a pint, I will be happy to drink it for you and buy you the beverage of your choice

The venue is popular on a Wednesday, so I have made a booking. Please reply to this thread or send me a PM if you are coming so I can give the venue an accurate number of guests early next week.
