MEL parking Conga

To clarify the title..... I am flying out day 1. Wife flies out night of day 1. I return day 2. To save on a couple of taxi fares, I am hoping she can drive to the airport, leave the car, and I pick it up on day 2 when I return and drive it home.

We each have a set of keys, so that's not a problem.

Parking card/ticket - any way other than leaving it in the car itself, to enable her to get it to or leave it for me for the next day?

(planning on just using short term parking btw).

Use the MEL parking calculator to determine if the Long term carpark is cheaper or not.

I'd leave the ticket in the car - unless you are going to see her there is nowhere else to leave it. just hide it somewhere. I've done the exact same thing. grabbed the ticket then paid on my way out

Long term parking is a lot cheaper, especially if the car is there more than 24 hours.

Best to hide the ticket in the car in a location known by both of you.
