MEL QF First Early Check In

I'm flying on QF93 next week and wondering if anyone has data points since MEL F Check In reopened on how early you can check in. Any success at earlier than 3 hours?

To answer my own question it's fours hours before the flight.

A a side point I’ve noticed that on lightly loaded flights they don’t staff many desks at all. Some of the recent TT flights from MEL have hardly had a single business desk open.

Not MEL... but I checked in for QF11 out of SYD about 4 hours before the flight and initially they said they couldn't do it because the US customs contractors weren't there to put the sticker in the back of the passport. Was told to wait in the F checkin area until finally the supervisor came over and said they'd check me in but I'd need to get a sticker at the gate along with everyone else. Which didn't make a difference in the end as I had the SSSS on the boarding pass....
