Yep way overdue for a MEL get together - Covid now in rear vision mirror and we are all getting on with our lives - so let's get together.

But to try to make most suitable for majority you tell me where and when please?

A few years ago there was a dinner organized at the Olive Tree after the AFL Grand final, might have been 2014

It kinda morphed into a standard arrangement for all who attended GF or were just in or around MEL on GF weekend but it wasn't advertised here - hasn't happened since 2019 and I am in Bali this years GF but I am sure those who do attend may well be up for a re-run.

We also used to meet up imm post game at Royce Hotel on St KIlda Rd which was invariable basically empty post GF and they served CUB beer there for the grown ups as opposed to the Southbank venues which were totally overcrowded and you couldn't get a CUB beer anywhere there. And only a 5 minute walk to OT as well.

City pubs such as Transport and Young and Jacksons always way overcrowded also so off to St Kilda Rd - but I digress.

Watching this thread with interest ... Will be in MEL 19/08-21/08 and 24/08 ... If everyone decides on a particular date, I will see if I can move things around.

Re : restaurant - Voted for the mid-week at St. Kilda. That being said, I'm pretty flexible, as long as the restaurant have chips & salad.
