MEL, Value Car Park (formerly Long Term Car Park).

I usually park in the section of this car park between the Terminal Drive entry and Centre Rd.
This section is an easy walk to T3 or T4, no need to wait for the bus.
I noticed last week that they have blocked off half of this section.
There didn't appear to be any works being done. I'm hoping they're just resurfacing and it will reopen shortly.
Does anyone know what could be happening here ?
Could it be part of the Airport Railway ?

It is very likely just resurfacing...I recall this happening a few times over the last 20+ years. The problem is that it can take a while to completely clear the area of parked vehicles which extends the time required.
