I find myself in a MEL airport hotel on Saturday 5th December. I land mid arvo so would have time to get into the CBD etc - anyone interested in dinner/drinks

I finish work at 8pm that evening, happy to catch up afterwards for dinner/drinks in the CBD.

I should be ok - any others want to join in?

Maybe we could make this the 'Who shot the Sherrif? NFI - but AFF Shot Citi' night?

Anywhere but that dodgy place on Southbank that so many of you love - you know the one that serves sh*tty beer and cardboard pizzas!

Bear Brass downstairs at Southbank is good (not the "****ty" venue that you refer to CE).

We've got a Christmas party in the afternoon of December 5 so won't have any energy to go out afterwards. Have a great time.

Ive been there twice - my first ........................ And my last time!

Thanks for volunteering to organise Cruisealot :)
So far I have nothing on... maybe gold at this stage :)
Maybe somewhere near Southern Cross for Steady's commute?

I am a maybe. Could be in Sydney for BAM, but if in Melbourne I might be keen.

We could always go to Olive Tree - anybody like steak?

Another thanks for volunteering to organise CE :)

I love steak, I will turn up wherever it ends up and hope to catch up with as many AFFers as I can. (I would prefer for it to be somewhere easy to get to from the airport though)

Why are you staying at the airport? Early departure?
