Hi all,
Work placement in Germany for 6 weeks end of August. I'm keen to find out best airport to fly into Munich or Frankfurt ? Also like to find out from experienced travellers if I can try different airlines in J class on different legs rather than one single carrier. I have been spoilt on Etihad and Virgin Atlantic so far and only consider flat bed. Any ideas or suggestions from the friendly experts will be greatly appreciated before I book
Cheers

Is price or alliance a concern?

Cathay fly one stop to FRA via HKG and is very reasonably priced in J ATM. Just picked up a SYD - MXP return for 7k each for SWMBO and I today for travel in July. The price to FRA I think is only about $3-400 more than that. New business SYD - HKG and old coffin style seats HKG to FRA but still very good and fully flat beds.

Just got email from Oman air , fantastic J according to all reports. Twenty per cent off sale. Might be worth getting to KL or BKK and get flight from there. Just priced BKk - Paris and it came in at about 75000 THB or AU $2620 return. Goes to Frankfurt and has free traintickets ,first class within Germany with DB but MUST book witthin online booking process. Only available this week till June 27. JoyV

Munich is a far better airport compared to Frankfurt. Modern, convenient, easy to navigate
