I have a strange entry in my QFF statement - can anyone shed light?

I did transit MEL on the 3rd April but have no idea what I did to earn the 600 QFF points

03 JUN 16 MELBOURNEAIRPORT 03APR16 - - 600 -

Do you use Valet at all? Otherwise not sure!

I think everyone who has to suffer MEL should get at least 600 points (if not an apology from state government)

Much better than Sydney/Brisbane and Perth that's for sure. Adelaide is pretty decent but is more 'boutique'.

Only bad thing about Adelaide airport is no decent lounges for international flights. Domestic QP and VA lounge just doesn't cut it. Everything else is great.

What is wrong with MEL? Name me a better Australian intl airport?

Keeping in mind you said a better international airport - Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Cairns.
Melbourne international has a ludicrous security and emmigration arrangement. Pathetically congested. Once finally making it inside there ain't much atmosphere. Brisbane has similar security problems but much nicer inside. Sydney has much better security and about the same atmosphere, but better lounge options.

Adelaide and cairns benefit from small size, making them easy to handle. Adelaide great atmosphere.

It's the vibe, it's mabo, it's vibe...

Still not sure why international is relevant to a domestic transit.

YEP youse guys are right - PER, ADL, SYD, CBR, BNE ALL better than MEL - let's black ban MEL - going forward ALL AFFErs DO NOT USE MEL!

You received an extra 600pts and you have no idea why but you are questioning it? God youse Taswegians are strange breed of cattle.

I transit MEL 40+ times a year - I'd like to know what what triggered it so I can do it again- if that makes me a strange cow so be it
