Melbourne EV Car Ride Service - GoBlu-EV

Thanks for the heads up. We've just booked them for a pick up when we fly into Melbourne tomorrow afternoon. $26 to go to our hotel in the city, after the $14 first go discount (normally $40 for the trip). I'll post a report afterwards.

As a follow up, we finally got to Melbourne after our flight was progressively delayed, up to two hours. When I first made the booking, they confirmed via WhatsApp. I used that to let them know about the delays, and they adjusted the booking at their end. I was grateful for their patience, and able to accommodate the changes. It was a quick run into town. I'll be certainly using them again.

Ride booked for Thu nt to get me home - I’ll quote both Uber and DiDi comparative prices when I land 👍

Note: It’s easy to input flt arr deets and they will monitor your flt progress to make sure collection is timely 👍

We got back home last night after three and s a bit days in Melbourne. We used GoBlu-EV for three of of our four rides, as they weren't available for one time. Although, the Uber we got was a BYD Atto3, so it was four out of four for using an EV.
No issues in recommending them to others. They looked after us when our flight kept getting delayed. I had put my flight details into the notes field so they had that info. The rest of the rides they got there 10-15 minutes early, which suited us. Besides the lessened environmental impact, they were 20% cheaper than Uber.
Thanks @Batterytraveller for the tip

+1 in favour of Go-Blu.
They confirmed the booking the day before, they arrived a few minutes early, they alerted their arrival by sms, the car was clean & tidy, the driver was courteous & professional, and the price was very competitive (& even more so with the first ride extra discount).

Used GoBlu-EV for trip to Melbourne airport from Brunswick in early July. I used email as I don't have a mobile phone, but they accommodated that and let me know the name of the driver, confirmation of time and cost. Arrived on time and took my luggage down the external stairs for me. Latvian driver, very courteous. Cost exactly as quoted $36.94.

Return journey by taxi 4 weeks later $58.50 (including booking fee?, Govt. levy & airport arrival?).

I've been using GoBlu-EV as much as I can while in Melbourne for work or leisure. Most of the time they are available, and a better service than Didi or Uber, and cheaper. Being able to provide updates etc via WhatsApp makes it easy to keep in contact, especially on flights with internet.

I’ve been picked up by the CEO and the COO a few times. They are taking inspiration from an Indian outfit called BluSmartEV who have 5000 cars in a few cities across India and investment from BP. I admire their bootstrapping.
Was wondering, who's the CEO and COO? I use them on my trips to/from the airport once a month.

[OT] slightly off topic but last 5 rides with UBER in Brisbane (to from airport) an EV has always arrived after selecting cheapest (unshared) ride.

Tried DIDI only once and car wasn't well presented and driver grumpy & never left his seat when we had 4 luggage.
