I actually like Crown's pool, just hard to get to.
Westin has a nice pool, but indoors (and only 20m)

What do you define as a great pool in Melbourne?

Crown Metropol has a nice pool overlooking the city, I prefer it to Crown Towers which feels likes its been stuck just wherever they could put it.

Stayed at Crown Metropol last weekend - didn't use the pool, but the photos looked quite good. It was the Wot Hotel on Wotif - $191 + fees (all up $200), instead of $450!

Nowhere in Melbourne city will have a hotel pool anywhere close to the Asian countries.
You didn't mention which Crown you stayed at, I can only assume Towers, but as I mentioned Metropol is good and someone else mentioned Adelphi also which is classed as one of the best hotel pools in Melbourne.
The Langham has one but rather small

The best luxury hotels in Melbourne..Fivestaralliance Hotel is best hotel in Melbourne..All Famous peoples are visit in this hotel..It is a five star Big hotel hotel. All Cricketers, Business man and Hollywood star come in this hotel..

Nicholas...Five Star Alliance is not a hotel. It is an organisation that suggests certain hotels.

Hotels from that list which people have already mentioned regarding pools are Crown Towers, Langham, Park Hyatt
Many others on the list do not have pools at all (only day spas) and some of the others shouldn't be on the list at all (Radison on Flagstaff, Mantra)

Couple of pics of the pool at the Metropol
