Hi all,

I am after flights from Melbourne to Istanbul, I have a fair few QFF point and Velocity, I also have something like under 100K Krisflyer miles as well.
I have tried to look on Qantas however the website doesn't return anything for me with error #9201.
I have also checked Singapore and it also doesn't have anything left.

I would love to see if you can find me something around September and returning in four weeks.

Many Thanks

10/9 - MEL-BKK-DEL-IST, flying Thai (total 26hrs - 90 min layover in BKK, 4hr layover in DEL)

11/10 - IST-PEK, Flying Turkish, connecting to PEK-MEL on Air China with 10.5hr layover in PEK.

These should be bookable using Krisflyer. Difficult times to negotiate as surrounding school holidays.

Many thanks. Do you mind sharing how and where you found these?

United.com - generally shows staralliance availability that you should be able to book with KF miles.

So I create an account on untied and searched for flights, mine comes up mel-sin-ist with total flight time of the month 36 hours.
Am I doing it correctly I search under mileageplus.
Is there a partner airtime site for velocity?

Velocity you'll have to search individual partners (Etihad/Alitalia, etc).

Not sure if your aware, but velocity points will convert to Krisflyer at 1.35:1

Yes, I am aware of it and it sucks
I'll check the partners.
Is there another way to check qantas partners? I checked on BA but no results.

18/9 MEL>DOH>IST on QR - 121,000 QF points + $458
21/9 MEL>SIN>IST on SQ - 78,000 KF miles + $95

Can also look at returns if these outbound flights suit.

You mean search directly on Etihad as an example and then ring velocity to book it?

Yes - I dont believe that Velocity website will show Etihad availability.

Watch for Etihad surcharges though on award tickets issued by Velocity... can seriously add up.
