Sorry I won't be back in time for this, so an apology. Good venue. I'm sure you guys will have a great time now that straitman is a "regular" there ;) Remember, don't forget the "chicken feet" TomVexille's favourite

Boooo ;)

Well am now home after a good meal and great company. thanks to all who attended regardless of how long you were here for. Look forward to the next one.

Unfortunately lunch was pretty poor without the conversational input from Goodonya.

Service was poor and food was average at best. Requests when made were acknowledged politely and then not acted upon.

Overall pretty poor IMHO.

Were there any photos taken?

I hope the venue attempts to apologise and compensate for the problems and you are given better service for the next function, wherever that happens to be.

There was no understanding that they had provided poor service. A major issue was that there was insufficient staff and those working were so over worked that they were unable to respond to anything. TomVexille and blackcat20 were late due traffic and roads congestion and despite repeated attempts to get them food they eventually left to get food elsewhere.

Cool Cat Phil, if you're worried about the "chopsticks" challenge, I don't think I'll be able to make this one. I'll be out of Melbourne but if I get back early enough on Sunday I'll give it a go. Has straitman decided on a venue as yet?

We will have this " Chopstick challenge" someday & I have no doubt that I will conquer the challenge :)

We ended up heading to a Japanese place for some Ramen, then onwards for some wine.

Not sure which bright spark decided to close Batman ave, Brunton ave and Flinders street at the same time but getting in and out of the city was a nightmare.

Let me know the time and place and I will help you out by replacing Goodonya's chopsticks with left handed chopsticks without him knowing. ;)
