Melbourne Yum Cha Sunday 21st August

Now normally I’d jump at the chance of a Sunday Yum Cha in Melbourne but alas, in lieu of jumping, I will be undergoing a full knee reconstruction 6 days earlier having completely ruptured my right ACL with a torn meniscus to boot. I’ll reconsider nearer the date depending on the progress of my recovery but at this stage if the planets align and I join all the dots I’ll have a straight line

Never let it be said that you wait until the last minute to 'notice' a thread! ;)

Ouch. Best wishes for a speedy recover post op

You are such a trouble maker!

You're just figuring that out now?

Where will the venue be?
I would like to attend as long as it's not too inconvenient for me to get there.

That's no good Goodonya! Your rendition of 'Cecilia' just won't be the same delivered from a chair or crutches. Wishing you a full and speedy rec

Where about what it be ? HuTong,Prahran has good YumCha!
Sorry glenn.im,

It needs to be in the CBD for peoples commutes. I will remember that place though for myself another time.

OK I haven't forgotten about this but I'm finding retired life way too busy. I have been flat out every day atm.

I'll have a venue posted by tomorrow afternoon. ;)

Thanks for your tolerance of my tardiness.

I've just looked at this and Hu Tong also has a city outlet which may be a good option.

Yum Cha is booked at the Shark Fi Inn in Little Bourke St. Ask for 'Bill'
The booking is for 11 am which is earlier than I would normally pick but it was that or 1:30 pm which is a bit late for a few.

If anyone has thoughts of coming could they please let me know so I can confirm the numbers?

Shark Fin Inn | 50 Little Bourke Street in Melbourne

Hu Tong in the city does not do Yum Cha and a couple of others were closed on Sunday.

Yum Cha is back, nice! Luckily I'm in MEL this weekend so count me in. The early start is the perfect excuse to sleep in and skip breakfast :)
