Has anyone stayed at the Mercure Ginza using their Stay Plus?
How was the free room like and treatment as a Silver status member?
Not sure whether it is worth upgrading from a Superior Queen (pay additional AUD$20) to a Deluxe Queen (pay an additional AUD$72) as per current.

If you're there for any more than 1 night I'd upgrade to a Deluxe. Have stayed there in a privilege room and saw the standard and superior rooms which are the same size as an APA business hotel (read: TINY).
Treatment as a gold was quite good. Late check out, welcome drinks etc... Standard warm Japanese hospitality service that you'd expect regardless of status.
It's a great hotel location, and found it very quiet.

I am tempted now to book the Privilege Room. But is it worth to pay an additional of $125 for a night stay? I am just a Silver member, therefore not sure about the welcome drink etc and chance of a late check out. How was the free minibar selection and the bed?
