MH attitude to QFF elite status pax

Mrs Beast and I are travelling BKK-KUL-ADL in discount economy late April with MH. I am WP and she is SG. Just wondering if anyone else has any experience as to how MH treats QFF/OW elite tier passengers. Has anyone scored an upgrade or a better seat (exit row, aisle) on the basis of the QFF/OW status?

Dont expect anything, they are still coming to grips with the whole OneWorld business, priority boarding on my last flight was at the same time as the back rows.

Not sure about economy but on my first business class flight on MH BKK-KUL in 1F I was treated quite well by the FA. She kept topping up my gin and tonic even before I had a chance to finish.

Have a few more flights next month so will be interested to see what happens.

Just as a point of reference my last long haul Y flights with QF resulted in absolutely no recognition of status. If QF can't look after their status FF's what hope is there?

By all accounts, they're not overly strong on recognising their own elites on board, let alone anyone else's.

Stop complaining!!!
- Fly AB and than compare it to QF
- Get stuck with AB and than compare it to QF (AB lies, ignores status, lets you stranded, you need a lawyer to get your expenses...)
