Way to go dairyfloss! :)

Thanks for updating us, enjoy your trip and do report back on how your MH experience was..

Does the MH boarding pass that QF produced look like a regular QF BP(Does it still have your status printed?), or have they printed it on MH boarding stock?

Will do! The BP is just the same as the QF ones... but status is not printed. The ETKT number shows there in place. Will get them to adjust that at Singapore perhaps, though I was planning to stay at the Qantas SIN Lounge and avoid the MH Golden Lounge :P The Premium Desk said they couldn't access the actual MH booking, and so keyed in flights and ticket to produce the desired effect and BPs, I believe.

Just try the transfer desks at SIN first they can normally reprint your BP on the stock of the airline you're flying.

Righto - will give that a try... I can't recall - but is it any transfer desk that can help, or I need to find an MH one, which is likely going to mean T2?

The way it worked in SIN seemed to be SQ had its own, then there is also generic transfer desks that service lots of airlines from the one desk. They have stacks of each airlines BP's so they can print out a proper one.

Good stuff, thanks cmon0005! Off to board shortly. Be back on at the QF SIN lounge :)

The BEST news... I got my 1st QF op-up to J for the BNE-SIN flight! I was in Y+, but that and Y appeared oversold... so very glad I didn't put that upgrade request in a few weeks ago now! :D
Well done on the op-up.

I am on this flight in a couple of weeks but in economy and looks to have a very light load with 9's everywhere down to N2. I guess it is a lottery which flights are full.

It was great to get the op-up, most likely linked to QLD school holidays this week. Unfortunately QF51 was also delayed by close to 2 hours today, and so there was a few nerves until arriving in Singapore and confirming all was well for the connection (under an hour in the end - should have been 3). Actually got to watch my bag go into the hold from seat 2F on MH :) Having a beer now in the MH Golden Lounge ahead of my last leg to BLR. A long day it has, and continues to be...

Are there any developments on check in at SYD QF F check in for MH flights? I am flying SYD-KUL in Jan on the 2155 departure but my shuttle bus from the South Coast has me arriving at the airport at 1600.

Do I have any chance of checking in with baggage prior to 1955 (T-2) when the MH counters open?

QF check-in at CBR today couldn't issue me BP for MH flights onwards to SYD-KUL-HKG despite my whole journey (CBR-SYD-KUL-HKG) being one the one ticket. But they have previously issued MH boarding passes before. I was surprised that this was still an issue...
