Pretty good value but makes it hard when the return leg needs to be completed within 30 days. I will wait until I get QF points and SC.

The 30 day limit is a pain, not sure what the waiting reference is about, given they earn QF points and Sc since Feb 1.

didn't know about MH flights already earning QFpoints and SC. Tempted to do it now as I have a trip planned for early March.

$1900 to CDG on the A380 if that helps anyone :)
480SCs but you'll get screwed on points earn (0.75ppm on the long sector)

Sounds really good to be honest, pity I can't afford it at the moment or I'd book for later in the year.

It's a shame the sale isn't for later in the year too! MH are moving an A380 to the ~14:25 departure ex HKG from May I believe.

Was going to say, without looking at the site, that if LHR is being offered for $2150 with their APD, there must be a couple of other destinations in Europe a bit cheaper...

But yes, already got a USDM booking for July/August with Thai's A380 to CDG...

From April 1 they are running the A380 to HKG as announced today!
