I was in the lounge an hour ago but didn't stay long after seeing the dismal breakfast offerings. The lounge agent said the First section would re-open "mid-January".

Sad to hear the breakfast option remind poor. Was there earlier this year and will be again in Feb. Not sure why that can't so a decent breakfast.

How very Malaysian. I had a former boss who lived in KL, lived in an apartment building that was new, it looked very nice and shiny with grand bathrooms, but he had to shower at the pool area, as none of the bathrooms had plumbing installed, apparently the builder saved a lot on that work!

Maybe even March - I was told "two months" yesterday.

On asking why, I was told som,thing along the lines of 'Failure to obtain "authorisation" ' - whatever that means...

Be thankful at least there are no toll ground staff there! Any word back from MH yet?

What's sad is that the free KLIA wi-fi at the gate is 1000 times better than the lounge wi-fi.

I could not connect to the wi-fi in the refurbished lounge. I could not connect to the wi-fi in the Silver Kris lounge either.

Is the KLIA wi-fi for use at gate lounges only? I could not connect to that either.

Not sure. We left out of C4 this morning and there was a wi-fi connection called KLIA Free Wi-Fi (or something to that effect) that my iPad found the signal for. Popped up a "I agree to the following conditions" page and off I went. Worked fine, hardly the fastest connection out there, but exponentially better than what the lounge offered.

Also, for a business lounge, I can't believe the lack of powerpoints!

Honestly, the lounge looks nice...But in terms of practicality as a business lounge? It's terrible.

We left out of C4 this morning and there was a wi-fi connection called KLIA Free Wi-Fi (or something to that effect) that my iPad found the signal for.

Wifi in the refurbished J lounge was OK, if slow (that was around 6pm on a Saturday).

No issues in the regional lounge.

Also, the KLIA free wifi worked fine as well.
