I was surprised to learn that Midas has recently ceased to be a Velocity partner just as I was looking to book a service:

Bugger. I had previously picked up 18000 points using this offer.

They would usually make this offer every 6 months, which worked well for my car services. I am due for a service next month and was waiting for the Midas email
