(mini)Trip report to Perth for the footy

Was home by around 5.30pm to watch episode 6 of the current series of Game of Thrones.
Also watched the replay and I managed to catch us on TV.



That's it. Short and sweet. Was a great weekend.
The hard product of the QF A330 is terrific, IF you get the window seats of rows 2 or 4. If you're not planning to fully recline into flat mode, then it doesn't really matter, but the 'cubbyhole' where your feet go for the other seats is a pain.
Food was meh on the way over, but excellent on the way back.
Service was good both ways, slightly better coming back.
Movie choice was poor. But I did get two that I liked, but the lack of choice was fairly ordinary.
You get a nice doona style blanket, not the fleece type, but a proper blanket. Pillows provided. I didn't use the earphones and used my own Bose QC35s instead.
Great weekend. Great trip.
