I spoke with QF yesterday to insure that the bookings were linked and asked again why they sell on their website a connecting flight through SIN with less than 1 hour connection time.

She had confirmed that IATA specifies a minimum connection time of 1 hour in SIN. She asked where on the QF website I had seen the routing and after confirming it she said that she will put the request to IT that it defies IATA regulations and to remove it as connecting option through SIN.

Interesting to see whether QF follows up on this error.
I hope you have not shot yourself in the foot here. If they do fix it, you might get the call from Qantas that your connection is illegal and will need to be changed.

Nah. It has already been re routed through BNE and connection time in SIN is now 2 hours.

Double benefits ... a brief visit to Brissy as well as plenty of time in SIN for lounge enjoyment.

I may use my last QC club invitation for attaining silver in BNE (2 hours there as well) which means it will have to be a lesuirely stroll in SIN (again) as don't have lounge access. The positive is during this trip I will be SG although I don't think Finnair SC's post quickly enough to allow me to gain entry in SIN and MEL QC lounges on return legs. Maybe a quick call to QF here to see if possible.

Who would have thought! JK no longer a pleb but a scum.
