Is there any way to tell if your status is renewed at the end of the year?

I'm currently Platinum and will have 50k qpoints by the end of the year, but no AA segments.

Obviously Platinum lasts until end of feb, but is there any way to tell on 1 Jan whether it's been renewed?

You will receive a "congrats you requal'd" letter along with your new card (valid Feb 09) in the mail

mine took about 3 weeks to arrive after making the required q-points for Platinum renewal.
