Missed flight

My girlfriend missed the outbound leg (Virgin) of a return flight, so had to book one way with Jetstar.

What does that mean for her return leg?

Have you checked?

Generally that would mean the rest of the itinerary would auto cancel but bookings in Australia are one-way bookings so all could be OK with the return.
 
Logged into her velocity account (after flight missed) and booking down even appear
 
Perhaps a call to Virgin to try and reinstate that return flight.
