Missing luggage

Just a quick thread to ask what is the protocols with missing suitcase, flew with jets tar Asia from Singapore-coughet they lost our 1and only case ,got it back the following day late afternoon without an apology or anything else, had the same gear on since leaving Perth 38hrs before(phew)any input guys and gals.

You should get a tracking number before you leave the airport.
With the tracking number it will help with any communications with the airline that you may have.

I am not sure what JQ's policy is, but if you are away from home, there may be some form of compensation to help you get some basic clothes and toiletries to last you whilst your bags are missing.

They should have given you a form with the baggage number, their tracking number and their contact details to follow up as well as details on how to claim after 21 days.
Keep ALL receipts if you have purchased anything to do with your baggage being delayed so you can claim afterwards
