Missing points claim for AA flights with missed connection/rebooking

I recently took a couple of AA flights for which no points/sc were credited to my account. I know my QFF number was entered correctly, as my oneworld sapphire status was recognized. The flights were PHL-DFW and DFW-SFO in business (I). The flight from PHL-DFW was delayed, resulting in a missed connection in DFW, and I was put on a later flight to SFO. When submitting missing a points claim, should I list the original flight numbers booked, or the flights actually flown?

I have printed boarding passes for both original flights, but for the rescheduled flight I only have a screen capture of the mobile boarding pass. What should I submit as evidence?

Thanks so much!

Welcome to AFF. :D

I presume you have not made a claim as yet.

What I would do initially is to log onto your Qantas FF account and use the submit missing points claim form.

Enter the flights you actually took.

If that is rejected or is only partially successful, only then do you need to consider submitting boarding passes copies etc.

@serfty - what is the best way to claim SC's and points for an original route booked that was changed quite a bit including leaving out Singapore altogether (as a result of the Great Dubai Flood)?

Email for ORC. Too complicated for the web form. Just send eTicket for original booking and BPs for actual flights flown.

Yep. There’s another thread here with a generic email template, which I recall may have been posted by @sudoer.
Many thanks - have done a search and located that template email from @sudoer and have submitted the email - hopefully it should do the trick without too much hassle. Now onto claiming my expenses for hotels etc for the delay...

Thanks a lot - the flights have now shown up on my activity statement.
