QF Departure Gate Screens - Perth

Flew QF PER-ADL yesterday, at the departure gate, (15) the monitor above the gate with all the departure information had the destination changing back and forth - "Adelaide - Kaurna Country". Had a quick look at gate 14, same thing for "Karratha- Indigenous name". Never seen that before anywhere else.

I only ask out of curiosity as that doesn't happen in ADL, is it a QF thing? or a Perth Airports thing? VA doing same in PER? or anywhere else in AU for that matter.

It’s a Qantas thing also I think, or possibly just other airports (I’ve seen it at cairns). Interestingly I don’t think they do it in Darwin

Yep, it's a Perth Airport thing. They've been doing it for many years.
