Hi,

I need to go to london to attend a wedding (not any of the royals) and only had my leave approved today. Wont bore you with the details but wanted to leave 1st or 2nd of this July. A day either way is OK.

So I go to Qantas website to see if this is a goer:

Sydney-Singapore Economy
Singaore-London Premium Economy
then
London-Singapore Premium Economy
Singapore- Melbourne Economy

Dont know if this mixed up booking is even possible ? Only doing it if I can to save $$$'s by doing the shorter part economy and longer bit Premium.

So dont seem to be able to do this on the Qantas site or can I, at least to find what the cost would be compared to the full flight in economy .

Any advice because I reckon you guys are expert at this type of thing.

Cheers

You cannot mix classes on the Qantas website in the one booking. You can try calling reservations but they will charge a service fee or you can go through a travel agent or something like Expedia or Zuji.

Another option is via the Qantas website and split the itinerary into separate 2 bookings

- SYD-SIN//SIN-MEL economy charged in AUD (do you really want an open jaw ? although that should not change the airfare much)
- SIN-LHR-SIN premium economy charged in SGD

You may find that it will work out a little cheaper as the airfare out of SIN will be slightly cheaper.

Unless you are trying to do a J reward booking.....:evil:
Yes oz_mark! The Qantas award booking engine is infamous for charging more and offering less such as JQ flights and seats in cabin class less than what is requsted.

I assumed the OP wanted to purchase flights.
