After just travelling to Europe on a J Saver I thought I would hit up for the F Saver BNE/SYD into FRA for next year.. Not sure if it's a website error or are they not doing the mixed class anymore. Does anyone know ?? thank u
Mixed class redemptions are not working via the website.
There have been reports that people are getting the mixed class redemptions via the telephone call centre.
Personally I am getting really frustrated with the website, I thought I had found a way to do the mixed class redemptions via the "Add to Cart" format...but that didn't work.
I'm trying to put a stop over onto a trip to BNE-ZRH...it is just so clunky to do to via the website...and then sometimes I find it defaults back to departures from ADL.
Sure it's clunking but the call centre is trying really hard. Oh and yes the site slow down is helping us with availability that you don't see with other carriers. Be prepared for a 30 minute call and don't forget to claim the 15% on line discount by asking for it after the web page failure. My next flight is an A380 J out of LAX in a week. Our points are still working a treat!
If you are planning an F Saver into Europe and your final destination is other than FRA, consider doing it as a *A F redemption. Probably has access to the same Saver inventory plus you get the final leg of your journey with LH in J.
If you use this method be aware that if you are leaving out of BNE you get J BNE-SIN.
Thanks,
I emailed Kris with my query and they rung me a few days later to inform me that it cannot be done online only on the phone without the 15% discount, no if's but's etc... I did try Mine is continually defaulting to Adel also.
Alby who are you flying with Bne-Zrh because that would be my preference, I was just looking for a cheap F hence FRA

If I go direct BNE-SIN-ZRH then I will get J Saver to SIN then J on the A380. ~110,000 miles one way.
For this number of miles I hunt around a little and try for TG F (but still J BNE_BKK.) I was exploring this option for my dates in October but can't see any F around my dates.
Last time I went via FRA on a *A F redemption for 115,000 miles each way.
