How does lounge access work with a mixed class domestic booking?

For instance, Syd-Mel in business and Mel-Adl in economy (or vice versa with the classes) would I get lounge access at Syd and Mel?

Thanks everyone!

Follow-up question and assuming no status: what happens when there is no business service on the next flight?

For example, booked SYD-ADL business, connecting to ADL-MGB in economy (no business class on that route). If it's on the same booking, is there lounge access in ADL, considering that it's a "business class" ticket?

During COVID I did PER-ADL-MEL, got upgraded for PER-ADL but not ADL-MEL

I went to the QClub and asked about it, the lady at reception said technically we weren't allowed in but it was a quiet day so she kindly let me and Mrs TY24 in on the sly.

Ask with a smile and you never know what might happen.
