Mixture of SkyTeam and Star Alliance travel

Well, it looks like due to schedules and such (each airline only does 2-3 flights per week on the route) I will be mixing travel between AF and SN ; ergo ScaryTeam and *A. It looks like I may be able to get gold in both programs, but likely to not hit till the end of the year. That being said, if the current schedules are anything to go by most travel would be attributed to AF in which case 5 or so return trips should get me to Gold, with Platinum being not far off by the end of the year. Quite interesting as I was hoping it was going to be *A and SN, but looks like it'll be ST and AF (may as well sign up for Flying Blue, seems to be the best for earn/burn especially as it allows 1 way redemptions and often has % off promos on award flights).

All travel will be in paid business (From LHR via CDG on AF and via BRU on SN). As such status isn't such a big issue I guess as I'll have lounge access and all the benefits that come with flying in business anyway.
