Moon Landings - fact or conspiracy

Absolute hoax - Moon Landing? Bah Humbug - more like Mojove Desert landing!

They had cameras and radio contact with them at all time like a gazillion miles from earth? Really? 50 years later we cannot get a WiFi signal to a plane a few mtrs off earths surface - give a me a break! Same people who believe this prolly hanging up their stockings right now!

A friend of mine was part of the work using "lasers on Earth aimed at retroreflectors planted on the Moon during the Apollo program (11, 14, and 15), and the time for the reflected light to return is determined" (copied from Wikipedia) as part of efforts to measure changes in the Earth's crust, and perhaps predict earthquakes. So its likely they managed to plant something on the Moon, as it would be a far reaching conspiracy to keep it all contained.

What about the secret naz_ base on the dark side? I've seen the movie ( unfortunately).

It mist be true, I watched it on television! Live.

On a serious note as Oatek notes the keeping of such a big conspiracy with the many thousands of people involved would be impossible.

Besides, if it was false Snowden would have told us via WikiLeaks.

Most people have a least one moon landing a day( successful )? Depends on the prunes eaten earlier

Then there's all the rocks and dust they brought back; I dunno, ?hundreds of kilos of the stuff. My Prof at Uni in the 1970s was one of hundreds of scientists who was given some to study. There are many characteristics of moon rocks that rule them out from coming from the earth - absence of water molecules within minerals; age of glass produced by impacts; micrometeorite impacts etc. It would be easier to go to the moon and collect some rocks than to try to fake them here on earth :) .

And then of course we can actually see, not individual footprints, but their trails and also the lunar rover's tracks (if they weren't ours, then that's a bigger story than any 'hoax' ) and other bits of kit left behind, just as the moon photos/videos showed.

Science wins. Nutters lose, as always.

Interesting characterization of those who just do not swallow everything the US propaganda machine feeds the world.

If science is so accurate and there is no water on the moon - tell me exactly what that dude up there drinks every day? Wine? Milk? Rocket fuel left behind by the Yanks?

Isn't he just sustained by the cheese? Kind of like the hummingbird (I think it is), it gets enough water from metabolism and food that it doesn't need to drink.

This is a topic which will never end well.

Thankfully we are all not sitting at a table with loaded guns sitting nearby.

My Prof told me it was Vermouth, but then he wore safari suits, so I'm a bit suspicious.

But then again, I'm talking water molecules in a mineral matrix, such as with that well know earth mineral muscovite: (KF)[SUB]2[/SUB](Al[SUB]2[/SUB]O[SUB]3[/SUB])[SUB]3[/SUB](SiO[SUB]2[/SUB])[SUB]6[/SUB](H[SUB]2[/SUB]O). Dig all the holes you want, you won't find muscovite on the moon.

SPOILER ALERT

If you actually watch the Kubrik film (which is quite old) you will find it's a hoax about the hoax. Very well done though.

You can find it on youtube. Search for "Dark side of the Moon"

Edit: the article says the video on youtube is an edit. It may be so but I saw the whole thing on SBS some years ago and trust me, it's a hoax.
