I think I know the answer sadly - but on the off chance someone knows, is it at all possible to move miles from Flying Club to Velocity? Maybe via someone elses frequent traveller scheme (hotel/airline etc.)

Priority Club - transfer your VS miles at 1:1 then launder to VA at 10:2 :(

Poor value IMHO, you are better off crediting any Hertz or Avis rental to VS or buying top up points for a J fare to HKG.

Yeah maybe i'll do that - i've got best part of 90,000 but would've been nice to stick em all in Velocity

there you go, hong kong to sydney return in VS Upper Class for 80k...not too shabby :)

If you're not keen on flying you could also transfer some to Hhonors. From memory 15000 flying club is 30,000 Hhonors...but the flight to HKG is much better value!

VS Flying Club Points transfer to Hhonors @ 1:2. 1 VS Point = 2 Hhonors Points. I recently changed 100,000 VS Miles for 200,000 Hhonors Points, and then directly onto QF for 30,000 QF Points. Not good value but my VS points were unlikely to ever be used. VS only fly out of SYD and there are no J fares available with SQ on VS Miles.

Also, VS have poor value for 1 way VA flights domestically. Thought I would just cut my losses and accept 30,000 QF points.
