I have a multi city booking i'd like to make changes to, but the change button is grayed out and hovering tells me to "call your qantas office"

is there any way to get this resolved so i can make changes without calling?

because part 2 of my problems, it's an around the world classic rewards fare. i'd simply like to change the dates of 1 leg. i can book an entirely new classic rewards fare on my desired date. however when i call and try and change my existing flights to that date, they say they can't see any availability of classic rewards seats?

flight is AKL to EZE via DFW on american

after complaining for long enough on the phone they were finally able to modify the flight.

"there's no rewards seats available on that day sir"

"but i can book one right now?"

Since the work experience IT kid left to work at Atlassian they can't afford to offer that functionality anymore

offer that functionality anymore
To my knowledge this functionality was never supported, and I've also never seen it work on NZ, SQ, and CX (other carriers I've booked multi-cities with in the past).

when i first booked the ticket the option worked, it was great! you could select multiple flights, see available alternatives, see the cost in points and cash for making changes.

I stand corrected then. I've never seen it work for multi-city before.
