What about hexamethylphosphoramide?

Well has anyone googled "hexamethylphosphoramide" lately?
What are the implications with the new security restriction on hexamethylphosphoramide?
Will hexamethylphosphoramide be put on the banned item list?
Can hexamethylphosphoramide be smuggled on a person without detection?
Do you declare hexamethylphosphoramide on the customs form?
Are the sniffer beagles trained to detect hexamethylphosphoramide?
Are there anymore issues with hexamethylphosphoramide?

It was me. And yes, I copied and pasted it. :D (although I will claim to remember enough Organic Chemistry to be able to tell if the spelling is OK. ;) The good thing about chemical names is that even though they end up ridiculously long, they are logically built up from short bits.)

Heck, that brings back my university days and learning all that IUPAC stuff. Which I have largely since forgotten.

Just for the record, our current ranking on a Google search for hexamethylphosphoramide is 32nd if searching "the web", but 3rd and 4th (with 1st and 2nd being 2 pages from the same site) if the search is restricted to "pages from Australia".

I've also now referenced this thread from my blog, so it will be interesting to see if that has any effect. Any bloggers out there, please feel free to do the same.

I have one, but it was set up mainly for a few work colleagues to be kept up to date with my most recent travels. Now that I'm between trips it doesn't get much of a workout.
