Hi all,

I'm planning a US holiday for 2pax next year - very keen on trying to book at least one trip in EY F.

I'm speculating as to whether the following is possible:

Outbound trip:
SYD -> AUH (VA29 Y flexi upgrade to J): 90,000 points
AUH -> JFK (EY103 F reward): 246,000 points

Return trip:
LAX -> SYD (VA2 Y flexi upgrade to J): 90,000 points

Total: 426,000 points

Based on what I've read here it would seem there might be 2 issues:

  • ability to book VA flights arriving and departing from different cities (AUH and LAX respectively)
  • ability to book AUH-JFK reward

Any help would be appreciated!

All looks possible to me. Just need to find the dates when seats are available...:D

LA routes are currently nearly impossible to find reward seats, think this has to do with new J suite fit out, they want to test the market with revenue pax.

But in theory it is all certainly possible.

I know it's not the same but you could use SQ suites?
