Sorry to be reviving an oldish thread, but I note that you've got FRA-SYD as on of the sectors. Is that allowed under the rules of this fare. Technically doesn't that mean that you are travelling thru Asia twice? I'm looking at doing one of these Japan based fares next month, and if this is okay, then seems you'll be earning a whole lot of extra miles than I expected. Which is good!
You can go through Asia twice, so long as one is a transit without stopover between Europe and South-West pacific, which is what the FRA-SYD flight would be.

To my understanding, one may travel through Asia twice providing one is a transit or with a through flight number .

Does not need to be a through flight number. He could take QF6 FRA-SIN and transit to QF9 SIN-MEL for example. So long as one of the visits to Asia is a transit without stopover between Europe and SWP it meets the rules.

I am in fact doing that routing in just 8 days on CX :)

That is a lot of very fast responses. Thanks. And a lot of extra miles & q-points. Will deifintely have to book one.

I am so grateful for the guys here putting me onto the DONE4 and having a boss that is happy to let me fly them as I want. The upcoming DONE4 will generate around 112K miles and 75K qpoints on AA - it's a BEHEMOTH and not to everyone's tastes but very very profitable for me :)

Indeed! And you're not alone in thinking that. :D

Sorry NM, I need to be a little more explicit in my posts. ;)
