err, we are the girls. Sure there are a lot of us on here

There are a few! I'm due to hit WP mid next month and am taking my first status credit run this weekend. The gentleman just thinks I am a little crazy!

Dont know what the girls think of this thread???????.....

Guess you boys are finding out what the "girls" think? :)
(By the way, I'm many years on from being a "girl" but can vaguely remember what it was like.)

My SO is Plat One - only because I organised it for him. And I am Plat One also - courtesy of the AFF expert advisory services, I should add.:D

So which thoughts would you like aired?

He'll get over it after a meal in the FLounge.

I even had Mr Katie get uppity at a security attendant when I strode through a priority queue. Mr Katie and I think Little Miss were behind me, and the security guy must have been checking for status, as he didn't know who I was. ;)
Mr Katie said something along the lines "Well, *she's* platinum".

(Which was slightly embarassing, but I guess it's nice he's so chuffed at my status)

Ladies

You rock.

Wish there were more of you in the WP game LOL

Well the problem is, THIS girl is getting the WP thing happening for her male, but from this thread, I've got that all wrong.

I agree with cove as SWMBO dropped to Gold this year and my popularity plummeted :!:
I now have 3 months to get her back to WP.

Does she want to take Little Miss along for a status run? She dropped to Silver from Gold, but was very excited to get a letter from Qantas. Not sure what we'll do with her free 3mth membership of the QP ...

+1 is WP as well because of me making (her words) her do a status run, she is very happy when she travels alone though and gets all the perks! Think it would be a bad day if she dropped to SG though... Inevitably we'll both go that way in a couple of years as I can't see us keeping up this travel pattern :(

Oops, I thought you were a She, because of the lle at the end of your nic, being French and all that!

RE: JQ35 - In my experience it runs every Saturday. They just don't start selling tickets on it from Syd to Mel until close to the date of departure (normally 2 - 3 weeks depending on loads).

:D hehe, it is actually my nickname back in Europe, I'm from the Flemish part of Belgium and it is pronounced as the kitchen appliances Miele

Here's a little neat WP service story today.

I range the WP line to book MELxSYDxAKL but the connection time was showing as 1 hour between flight landing and departing in Sydney, hardly enough time to enjoy any Flounging.
So I rang the WP line and said to the very helpful lady, any chance you can book me on an earlier flight from MEL-SYD? im worried about the connection time.

Not only did she put me on a much earlier flight but waived the phone fee, she said "oh its ok I hate stressing out about min connex times too, so no worries"

Quality work QF.
