A few months ago i started back up flying with QF and also starting to earn QFF Pts.
To start this off i booked a flight from SIN-LHR-FCO. The booking was skewed around and charged me the incorrect amount on my CC, this was later fixed and was refunded the amount which was charged extra.
Then on to the flight:
For the SIN-LHR leg i requested a window seat when i made the booking and even gave them a call up to see what would be a good window seat.
So thinking everything was good i arrived at SIN apt and was rudley treated at checkin, the lady snatched my passport out of my hands and didn't even speak to me. So i just went on and ignored what happened..
While i was on the flight i went to m seat and had actually discovered that my window seat didn't actually have a window, and also had the video box under the seat, this was really uncomfortable and to top everything off the entertainment system where i was seating wasn't working for half the trip, i complined on board and they said "we cannot do anything for you"...
So i asked if there was anywhere else i could move to, the cabin crew guy said "i'll check it out for you."
1hr later nothing happened, so i spoke to another person and they said "just go ahead into oneof the bulk heads"..
Then i went on for the rest of the flight...
When i got to LHR, went straight to the BA flight, checkin was fine and they were helpful, but then when everyone boarded, we were sitting on the taxi way for an hour, to then be notified that we'll be delayed due to weather in FCO and will depart in the next 15min..
2hrs past and we were still on the plane in a holding area on the taxi way, they adv us that it has now had gotten worse and will be waiting for longer, so they decided to give us the meals and drinks (after 2hrs that is)..
After they finished the service they deciced to go back to the gate to offload the pax who wouldn't need to go there now... We waited there for another 45min.. No extra catering either.. We finally departed all over 4hrs waiting in the plane though with hardly any notifaction of what happened..
I wrote in to QF when i got back (had to send off 3 letters and emails as they 'didn't get it') and was sent an apology and a $100 voucher, did the same for BA but no reply...
And just recently thought i'd give QF another go and booked another flt from SIN-FCO, i bought the ticket on thursday, and was told the SIN office would issue it on Friday. No notifaction received on friday, so just left it until today to check it out. The QF rep then notified me that there was an error and that nothing had been booked (even though it was on my bookings section all 'confirmed' status)..
So they re-booked in the flights and now have to wait a few more days for the ticket to be issued.
I also asked about seating and ER and Bulk Head seating, adv me he'll look into it, and said that he had done it.. But when i look in my booking, It states 37h and 41h, these aint ER seats!
Seems like QF just keep screwing me around in this situation, what are peoples suggestions in regards to this, should they offer me more or isn't there problem??
At the end of this trip i'll be a Gold FF member also...
